The region of Aragon (Spain) inaugurated the first hydrogen filling station that will part of a new hydrogen highway from Zaragoza to Huesca (75Km). The hydrogen station is located in Huesca, at the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation facilities in Walqa Technology Park. The first hydrogen station in Aragon was built in Zaragoza in 2008 at the International Expo “Water and Sustainable Development”.On 22nd of June Mr. Nick Reilly, president of GM Europe and Mr. Arturo Aliaga, Regional Industry Minister of Government of Aragon, drove a GM HydroGen 4 along the hydrogen higway before inaugurating the Walqa hydrogen filling station officially at the launch event. This new Walqa hydrogen filling station belongs to Aragon Hydrogen Foundation who designed the installation.
